Fast Quality Software is a Fast Technology product, built in Pune (Nigdi) by Improsys — a company whose name is short for "improvement in systems". We build the 12-product Fast Suite on one shared platform, and Fast Quality is its automotive QMS profile: the core-tool modules that plan quality before a part is made, prove it before mass production, and close the loop when something fails.
Improsys started the way most useful enterprise software starts — by watching a real problem happen inside a real factory, and deciding it shouldn't be that hard.
The name is the mission statement: Improsys — improvement in systems. Long before there was a "Fast Suite", there was consulting work with SME manufacturers around Pune: mapping how a part was planned, how it was proven fit for production, how it was inspected against a specification, and how a rejection was supposed to turn into a corrective action — and how often those chains lived in a folder of spreadsheets that no auditor could trust. The software grew out of the process work, not the other way round. That's why every Fast product starts with your process map and a gap analysis, not a feature checklist.
Out of that consulting practice came a single, long-lived business platform — and out of the platform came the 12-product Fast Suite: Fast ERP, Fast CRM, Fast Quality, Fast Complaint, Fast Billing, Fast WMS, Fast Inventory, Fast Production, Fast Planning, Fast Maintenance, Fast Audit, and Fast Project Management. They aren't twelve separate codebases bolted together; they are one shared platform with different module clusters switched on. Buy one product and it runs standalone. Add a second later and they already share the same customer, item, and user masters — no duplicate data entry, no integration project.
Fast Quality carries that philosophy into the quality department. It is the automotive QMS profile of the platform — the modules that plan quality before a part is made (APQP), prove capability before mass production (PPAP with the PSW), define what "good" means (FMEA and the control plan, driven off the specification master), keep the measuring equipment trustworthy (MSA/Gauge R&R and calibration follow-up), verify each lot (incoming, in-process, final and pre-dispatch inspection, dispositioned AC / RJ / AD), and react when something fails (NCR → 8D → CAPA). Reference automotive-QMS deployments at Nikhtish Engineering, Kakade Laser, Shree Engineering and Micro India run those modules together, because that's the point: the four core-tool records should be generated by the system as a by-product of daily work, not maintained by hand for the audit.
Today the whole suite is built and supported from one base in Nigdi, Pune — by the same team that answers your support calls. Under the Fast Technology brand, we serve IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 manufacturers across India and worldwide, cloud and on-premise, and we still measure ourselves the way a consultancy does: by whether the customer's system actually improved.
These aren't framed posters on a wall — they're the questions we ask before any feature goes into a Fast product.
Every implementation starts by mapping how quality actually flows — how a part is planned through APQP, who signs off PPAP, where inspection reads its specification, how a rejection becomes an 8D — followed by a gap analysis. Then the software is configured to fit the process. Requirements are captured in an SRS and signed off before anything is built.
A quality record that only exists because someone rebuilt it for the auditor is a liability. Fast Quality generates the APQP timing chart, the document-backed PPAP package, the gauge calibration register and the 8D corrective action as the natural output of daily inspection and follow-up — so an IATF 16949 surveillance audit finds the evidence already there.
If a customer, item, gauge or defect code is entered once, it should never be typed again. On one data backbone the loop runs end to end — inspection raises an NCR, the NCR escalates to 8D, the CAPA drives a change, and the change amends the FMEA and control plan and triggers a PPAP re-submission — with nothing re-keyed between steps.
Whether it's a single-line precision shop or a multi-line automotive plant, these are the fixed points of every Fast implementation.
Information security and quality management standards we hold ourselves to.
Every Fast product runs standalone and shares the same data backbone when combined. These are the suite products a quality department most often runs alongside Fast Quality.
